Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! Homemade chaya pasta, aubergine parmigiana, pumpkin seed babaganoush, and guayaba creme brule. All of it made my tastebuds jump in delight. The atmosphere is chill and relaxing and the service attentive. Very recommended! View all feedback.

After reading the glowing reviews of this place we were left a little disappointed with the experience. We visited on 31 December where they served a special menu. The food and the drinks we had were very good but the execution and attention to detail of a lot of other elements was amiss. For example, they literally didn’t have over half the drinks on the menu (mad when we were prepared to order a $2000 bottle of wine , and they didn’t have were sparkling wine (it’s New Year’s Eve… and I presume eggs for a mezcal sour, and a bunch of house wine they also didn’t have. It it a shame because the venue was stunning and the staff were friendly but the operation just didn’t seem that organised in running front of house. If you are going to offer a special New Year’s Eve menu, you need to make it more special than just the price which was over 3000$. I see other people have commented on how it was ‘bougie’ i would say it’s trying to be Bougie but you actually have to consistently deliver rather than having a couple of showpieces (natural wine and burnt herbs in the cocktails . I would come back on another day to give it another try!

Gorgeous atmosphere, friendly service, sensual vibes and an openly welcoming place for everyone, including LGBTQ+ clientele. Though the food menu is smaller, everything was delicious and fresh. They have a long list of cocktails and mocktails as well. There was live music on the evening I went, which added even more to the ambiance. This place is truly a gem!

A comfortable and bougie spot. People are safe to express their feelings in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Be aware, they have many events in the evenings and most can be loud so if an intimate dinner and drinks is your agenda hit the place at opening. Make a reservation as the events are busy and you could be booked out. The attention to detail is astounding and to sit in the beautiful historical building is an Ambience that is truly enjoyable

The newly opened Cadadia bar/cafe in the Mejorada section of Merida is a little gem. Swedish meatballs in the Yucatan? Yes, when served up by owner Emma Etta. The food from the meatballs, to sliders, to roasted vegetable tartine or roasted chicken dinner are neither Mexican nor Yucatecan but are inflected by and often carry the colorful influences of the region and its long history. Start with the Piña mezcal habañero cocktail and you can't go wrong. Order some spiced nuts or Mediterranean olives to go with it and you'll feel like you're in an old Spanish tapas bar. Located in an historic building with its old tile floors, tall french doors, ceiling fans, red velvet banquette and crystal chandelier, Etta has created a funky and genuine atmosphere that reminded me of the New Orleans Bywater district. The bombed out warehouse across the street with its art school graffiti adds just the perfect touch to keep this place hip and a far cry from all the slick and upcoming new eateries in Centro. Excellent service, by the way.
