I ordere... read more The old school retro look of this place is what got my attention. The waitress was very kind, it was earlier in the day and it wasn?t very busy at all. I ordered the signature Maid-Rite sandwich and their version of loaded fries. I found the food to be very bland and lacking any real flavor. Probably would not return if I?m back in the area

If you happen to be in the Ren... read more We accidentally discovered this little gem, and we couldn't be happier! Although the menu isn't extensive, the food is fantastic. If you happen to be in the Rend Lake area and are in the mood for a great sandwich, this spot is definitely worth visiting. The trip there is absolutely worthwhile!
