Good Food and Atmosphere. Nothing fancy, its a throw the peanut shells on the floor kinda place, but the prices are decent and the food is pretty good. I would recommend their happy hour, largish portions and very good prices, 3-6pm and all day on Sunday. Eat there 2-3 times a month.... View all feedback.
What Nicole Millsap doesn't like about Billygan's Roadhouse:
THE WORST MEAL WE HAVE EVER HAD!! Ordered the steak and mushroom sandwich and the French Dip, they both tasted absolutely disgusting. The meat on both tasted like it was sitting for days before served. We ordered 2 adult drinks that were supposed to be “top shelf” but I could have made better drinks at home! Super disappointed as we spent over $70 and only enjoyed the fries and bread. Not worth your money at all! Ser... View all feedback.
I love this place so much. The boy and I stopped for dinner tonight. I was probably 10 times here and never had a single complaint about...
Great food and fantastic service!!! Not too loud!!! The peanuts on the ground were interesting!! Peace be with you all Sherri
Bottom line: It is a great place to eat and try the beaten way. The saying: ...do not judge a book with his cover is definitely valid for this...
Decent Steakhouse. I don't get out to Billygan's as much as when they were on Mill Plain, but I still manage to eat there once in a while. Regardless of which Billygan's I've eaten at, I have always had good friendy service. The steaks I've eaten here have always come as ordered as has pretty much anything I've ordered. I typically order steak and coconut prawns as it's what I like the most. I recommend Billygan's with one caveat: If you haven't been here, you'll find this is one of those steakhouses that has peanuts on the tables and everyone throws the shells on the floor. So if you or a family member have a nut allergy, I wouldn't recommend going there. But if that's not the case, give it a try.
I have been coming here regularly for about 3 years and it is one of my favorite places to eat in vancouver. The price is right and the food is great, I always leave stuffed with leftovers. My personal favs: pulled pork sandwhich, philly cheese, and salmon.
