T-Mobile recently offered a promo for a free entree and side. Since we were in the middle of a move which left us with little to no cookware and plates, we've been living off takeout for a week. Decided to place a lunch order for Cajun Chicken with Garlic Red-Skin Mashed Potatoes and the Texas Beef Brisket with Famous Fries. Sandwiches are quite large and filling. What User doesn't like about Famous Dave's -b-que:
Ordered dinner/dessert from here tonight. It was not good. I had the Texas Brisket Sandwich, and the meat was dry with burnt ends that were not edible. The collard greens and cornbread muffin were good though. My husband had Dave's Favorite Burger, which was dry. We had the bread pudding for dessert, and the pecan praline sauce just made it too overly sweet to even eat much of it. Will not be ordering here again. Ser... View all feedback.

As of March 2023, this establishment has been permanently closed. A news article from September 2022 reported that the Famous Dave's location was shutting down and leaving the area.
I absolutely loved this place when it was located in Philadelphia on Delaware Ave. The food was fantastic, the service provided by the waitresses was excellent, and everything about it was wonderful!
I adore the setting and BBQ style of service, but I think this particular branch looks closed. It's confusing if I should even bother to visit. I hope they can stay in business. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+
I decided to give them one last chance! They usually serve pretty good barbecue, including ribs, brisket, pulled pork, and even the catfish was quite tasty. Unfortunately, the restaurant has permanently closed as of last month. That was their last location in Delaware.
