Having read some of the reviews I wasn’t expecting much but was very pleasantly surprised. One of us had the traditional breakfast. Others had the toasted sandwich. I had the chill jacket potato. The food arrived quickly and was tasty. The staff taking orders are very friendly and pleasant. View all feedback.
What m s nomads doesn't like about The Olive Tree:
Visited here but only to have a drink as in the past we have suffered in ordering food.Nothing has changed by observing all around. We witnessed annoyed customers and one poor girl having to wait all tables..Not a staff issue... management upwards are to blame..They take your money quickly but that's where the quickly stops!!If you can avoid it do...if not make sure you have sufficient time to eat ahead of flight.. This is the worst battered fish I have EVER had. Apparently it's supposed to be a light golden homemade beer batter. It is burnt on the outside raw on the inside and the oil tastes rancid. Be warned
When you no real choice of where to eat, I suppose you should not expect too much.but you should your food still be of a good standard. the olive tree food not really up to scratch. just yo be warm would help.
We had a breakfast in the early hours of the morning, the breakfast was hot, well presented,we didn’t have to wait long for it, it wasn’t huge but enough to tied you over for a few hours.
WHS was sold out of sandwiches so we looked at the Olive Tree takeaway selection. Not only were the ingredients not shown but there wasn’t even a basic description of what each sandwich was. There were a couple of shelf tags but no way to tell what was what.
06.00, hungry. I 'd eaten at the pub at Bournemouth airport previously and not happy with that, so ate at the little café this time. Really nice.
