I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at this restaurant. The Salt and Pepper Calamari was light, flavorful, and fried to perfection. The same goes for the Peri Peri Chicken, which was beautifully crumbed and seasoned, and the chicken was cooked just right. The side salads came with a delightful mint and sweet dressing that was so refreshing I found myself wanting more salad, which is quite rare for me. On top of that, the service was excellent. This charming little café has definitely earned my repeat business. I will be back for sure!
I stopped by for an early lunch and was thrilled with the special of the day: West Coast Whitebait. It was absolutely superb and very reasonably priced. The dish came with a nice salad and chips as well. The coffee was so delicious that I even asked about the brand (Gravity)! The service was excellent, and there was plenty of seating available.
Pros: Great Service Food. Cons: Quite Warm in the restaurant, not sure if there was just no cooling on or if there was none at all. The Desserts looked great but were slightly underwhelming in taste. However we enjoyed the starters, mains overall experience so would go back.
Really nice atmosphere, very neutral but lot with candles with a beautiful view. Warm, friendly and attentive staff. Great ribs! $20 for a full meal, and a pint! Incredible. Weds Thurs Friday $20 meals, and also good balanced but simple menu offering some really good, classic food. Definitely worth bringing a couple of mates, a date, or the family! Highly recommended.
