The atmosphere was fantastic, and the staff was very welcoming. We entered without much knowledge of the beer options, but the friendly employees took the time to discuss a few choices with us and helped us select some great drinks. The menu mostly features finger foods. We tried the fried squid, which was delicious. The setting is cozy and laid-back. We'll definitely be returning!
It really comes down to personal preference. The staff is excellent, and they offer a fantastic selection of beers. The atmosphere is eclectic, perfect for enjoying a quiet pint and engaging in long conversations. I only recently found this place, but I've returned every time I'm in Christchurch. While the food options are limited, what they do serve is quite delicious.
