Upshot Coffee/ Roastery - Christchurch

What a little gem, son treated me to a coffee there this morning, staff where friendly, coffee was spot on and the view just stunning.. this will become one of those places to take friends for a relaxed coffee....

What a find, Not flash, not generic,Just a friendly local with everything that goes with that. Friendly locals, great coffee good conversation,fantastic Blueberry cream cheese muffins Everything served here is homemade and delicious and did I mention very well priced. So good to find 1 of these old school local cafes and if you're into horses this is a must do.

Working across the road from this place and popped over for lunch, I can guarantee you've never seen a place like this, awesome atmosphere and the staff were really cool and seemed down to earth. Ticked all the boxes for me, will be dragging my partner out here to check it out when I get the chance

So heard so much about this place and the good ratings. I’d like to know what the fuss is all about. I get it it’s in a nice spot however, if I go for a coffee and a seat inside then I’d like it in a mug or a cup not a take away cup. The coffee was good as a barista I like a good cuppa. Home made food you can’t beat , but do I want a wet and dirty bun after sitting down . No There is junk everywhere now I know what’s quaint and country but it needs a bit of a tidy and a makeover . Probably just locals revisiting. New customers not impressed you can get good coffee and service and food most places. I am a local who has never been would I go back , probably not.

What a funky place! Great coffee and I had a stellar home made veg muffin. Owner was so nice and friendly, check it out!.
