The Long Knight Eatery Bottle Shoppe

This place is relatively new so we popped in to try the food and beer at lunch time. Service was pleasant and offered to taste a couple of beers off tap. We ordered the chicken wings, chips and calamari. All three dishes were fantastic. We sat outside in the sun which is a lovely place in the afternoon. Had speakers playing music but unsure what the place is like later in the evening. The rest of the menu looked good, will visit again.

Menu was different from what was listed online apparently the chef was away

Nice establishment great spot for a quite beer, well laid out with stools and leaners along with sit down tables, nice view out to the park north east facing so plenty of sun. Didn't eat but my partner had a platter a week or so back and rated it highly

Delicious salad, pie and chips. All steak and hardly gravy, which makes it delicious. My dad had spare ribs, which were generous and coated in a thick...unique BBQ sauce. It's got a nice environment, we'll be back for sure.

Looks like since the change of ownership the food has gone downhill unfortunately. Ordered a pull pork pizza and found it had barely any pork on it and had no flavour. Unfortunately a 5 dollar Domino’s pizza tasted better than the bland and undercooked pizza I had. They used to have really great food, but seems like they are going for basic pub grub now. Highly recommend for social drinking but not the overpriced food.
