Just went for a wander down the river and saw this bar. Didn’t even know it was already listed in happy cow! Pleasantly surprised to see it had good vegan options. The staff are super friendly, the ambiance is awesome and your spoilt for choice in beers. The food was also really really good! It felt like they made the food vegan because they didn’t feel the need to use animal products. It is on the pricey side though... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Craft Embassy:
We had a reservation for eight, but only seven of us were able to make it due to illness. The seating was quite cramped and uncomfortable, with rectangular tables. We requested to sit outside when the weather was nice, but ended up inside instead. The meal was decent overall, but the bun on the vegan burger was thick and dry. View all feedback.
I hadn’t been to Craft Embassy in eight months, and they definitely lived up to my expectations. The short ribs were fantastic, paired perfectly with triple-cooked chips. The beer selection maintained its usual high standards. I highly recommend it for a relaxed lunch!

This has been my favorite restaurant in New Zealand so far. Our waiter, Ben, was fantastic and assisted us in choosing a delicious wine and meal. He created a fun atmosphere and made us feel completely at home. I highly recommend the falafel and beet salad; it was absolutely delicious!
Great experience once again. The team at the Craft Embassy are wonderful and always make you feel welcome. The service was impeccable and good humoured. Meals were great and the selection of beers outstanding. Always have a great experience at the Craft Embassy and commend it to all.
Popped in for a beer and loved the little patio. Great spot in the heart of the city centre. The service was 10/10! We didn't eat here but would definitely return for some craft bevvies!
