Tavern Harewood - Christchurch

This restaurant is a great spot for a Friday night out. It's conveniently located near a supermarket on Harewood Road, making it easy to find and offering ample parking. Despite not having a reservation, my friends and I were able to snag a booth instead of a table, which worked out perfectly. The menu offers typical pub fare such as burgers, steak, and fish, all served with vegetables/salad and chips. I particularly enjoyed the Angus Rib Eye steak with vegetables and garlic butter - it was cooked to perfection, generously portioned, and delicious. You can also order drinks directly to your table, and some menu specials even come with a free pint, like the Lamb Shank pie. It's a great spot for a casual get-together with friends, and the sports bar atmosphere adds to the lively ambiance. The prices are very fair, so I will definitely be returning in the future.

This restaurant is fantastic! The atmosphere is great, and my party enjoyed the Beef Wellington and Caesar Salad, which were both delicious. I was really surprised to see that this restaurant isn't on Yelp yet. Also, Jess provided excellent service.

I had the chickenburger and my wife had the steak sandwich and we shared the wintons. absolutely delicious food. my only complicity is that this is only covered by half of the burger. however so delicate meat perfectly cooked, large tasting sauces. we will definitely come back!

We visited on Saturday evening with our grandparents at 18:30. the ices were amazing, the service was brilliant. attentive staff throughout the entire feeding process. the meals were hot, tasty and a great size. Many thanks for a wonderful evening, we will be back soon.

We had a great deal on a Friday night out with our colleagues. The complimentary hamburger was delicious and the Guinness was also quite good. The drinks were served at the perfect temperature. The staff was consistently attentive and well organized, a rare find in the hospitality industry these days.
