I had lunch there last Sunday, and it was a delightful surprise. The interior decor is impeccable, blending an industrial style with an Asian touch. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great recommendations from the menu. While the portion sizes are a bit on the small side, the dishes are truly delicious. It’s a fresh take on Asian cuisine that I absolutely loved! View all feedback.

Mixed feelings here. Love the place itself, cool decor and neatly tucked away. The food is pretty good although I would not recommend the dumplings, sort of hard and very different to popular places like eight grains. The Bao buns are delicious and would high recommend trying them. The service really put me off though, each of the three times i have come it’s never improved... Staff are not friendly and uninformative... View all feedback.
Eating here is like a party in mouth. I recommend the fried calimari and the cheeseburger dumplings.
Best dumplings we have had in Christchurch, delicious. The mocktail I had was also amazing. Good service too. So glad we stumbled across this place. Only suggestion for improvement is having clean menus.
Went here for my birthday dinner, was delicious. I got the Chicken Bao, Pork dumplings and French toast for dessert (I know it's a breakfast item! The chicken bao was delicious af, the steam bun was great. Pork Dumplings were dope. The French Toast was AMAZING!!!!! Good atmosphere and staff. Yes.
Was super excited to check this place out as the online menu listed several vegan dumpling options and a vegan banquet. Sadly upon arrival we were told that the menu had just been updated a couple days ago and they no longer had any vegan options (aside from edamame and fries... . We left very disappointed, but ya know, you can't expect everyone to be able to cater for your dietary requirements, so we weren't too upset. However, this was two weeks ago and the online menu still has the vegan options listed. So, I'm posting this review to save any other excited vegans from turning up, only to be let down, and to remind Sister Kong to update their website. Decor was cool though.
