The food was absolutely delicious, and we were thrilled to find a comprehensive vegan menu that included tofu and meat substitutes—not just desserts! The “meat” slices and “katsu” are sourced from a local vegan company called Grater Goods. The service was excellent, with a very friendly team. What User doesn't like about Samurai Bowl:

Love it here loads of vegan options on the menu and really good value. The vegan katsu is fantastic and the spicy miso ramen
Staff very friendly and know what’s vegan and what’s not. Very mixed reviews on here I would recommend giving it a try!
Lots of awesome vegan options here including the famous spicy miso ramen. That would be my recommendation. Vegan ‘meat’ is produced by local Grater Goods it’s a bit too meaty for my liking but over the moon that the option is there.
I just moved from melbourne and frankly, this is one of the best rams I had outside japan! it is not frills, safe, but big on taste and these people know what they do. it feels very secret. I work around the corner and will add this to my midday rotation!
One of the most beautiful and affordable Japanese restaurants in the city center. I always try to dinate at least once when I visit christchurch. love her gyudon, karaage and spicy misery.
