What Craig P doesn't like about Rosebank Estate:
Attended their Oktoberfest (2018) this was my 4th attendance, Rosebank itself is nice if not a bit dated. The event itself is poorly organized and run, the organizers were quite rude, condescending and short with the guests. A lot of the temp staff were inexperienced and it would take 15mins to get a beer. Over all very disappointing I wont be returning. *Porterloo pic is when one of our group got locked in the toile... A group of eight of us booked in for coffee, but stayed on for lunch, at Rosebank today. We had a lovely experience. The large dining area was fresh and cool on a hot day. The room was decorated beautifully for Christmas, and tasteful background Christmas music was playing. The staff were most pleasant and accommodating, and the food was delicious. Recommended.
Blue cod half sized (yes they do half sized but it 's not advertised on menu that we could see) was lovely. However 3 other points let Rosebank down terribly. 1. Front of house: smile, smile, smile engage with guests on arrival introduce yourself 2. Your toilets were filthy. It takes 2 minutes to check toilets regularly! Ladies toilet stunk. Paper from hand towels over floor where they haven 't pulled out of dispenser properly. 3. Have been here twice before and gardens were a delight. On this visit: appalling! You may well be running 'vase water ' outside to recycle it but who does the gardens? Weeds are over running the place and irrigation is desperately in need. So so sad to see.
Visited Rosebank estate with two people i work with who have disabilities. The lovely woman, Tanya, who greeted us and served us was absolutely amazing! Helped us sit down by the window, helped one of the men with putting sugar in his coffee and stirring it and also offered to swap an orange juice for an apple juice because the person who ordered it didn't like it (nothing wrong with the orange juice, it was great and the proper stuff, just not the type he liked) she spoke directly to the gentlemen using their names and really made us feel welcomed which is not always the case in many other places when it comes to disabilities. Fantastic experience and highly recommend it to anyone! Will definitely be back, thank you!
A group of 22 of us from Church went to Rosebank for lunch today and all enjoyed a delicious meal and coffee. It was very pleasant in the diningroom, and we had a relaxed and happy couple of hours. Thank you so much.
We had a lovely experience at Rosebank, we were very well looked after. by all the staff. They would check in to see if everything was ok and we even got blankets when the weather got a bit nippy outside. We all enjoyed our food and it was lovely to sit outside, as the garden is beautiful. We will be back again.
