Pomeroy's Old Brewery Inn

Nice and cozy pub serving proper imperial pints. They have a large choice of beer a couple of ciders. The staff is really nice too and know some history about the building itself (used to be a brewery). The food is really nice, too. Portions are huge. The burgers can easily be shared between two people. The pork crackling starter was too big for the five of us ?

Honestly the best burgers we have had in a very long time. The place was completely full (rightfully so) but the owner very kindly offered his table. Fantastic service and food.

Pomeroys has become a Canterbury Icon..if it's tea and cake you want there's Little Poms.. if it's a beer there's craft beer to right home about...if it's a sit down feed 10 of us gad one Sunday night thee was plenty of parking, the staff were friendly and the food was great....if you drink too much there's even accommodation

A typical pub meal but very tasty. The service was excellent by some happy, attractive young ladies. They made us feel welcome.
