Absolutely incredible! The authenticity is undeniable. The service is genuine, and the food is exceptional. It’s truly fantastic! I would give this place a 12 out of 10. We’ve dined here multiple times during our week-long holiday in Christchurch. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Old Street Asian Hawker Food:
Not up to our expectation. Char kuey tiao was more of a stir fry with bbq pork. If you want char kuey tiao in Christchurch, I would recommend Adam's Malaysian Noodles instead. Fish ball kuey tiao was ok. Children enjoyed the fried fish balls. Ning yong was ok but not exceedingly wowed by it. Parents previously dropped by and tried their wanton mee and curry laksa. Wanton mee was good but curry laksa was very powdery.... View all feedback.
I will put it on these wise, I recommend this place to a cucumber, as j enjoyed eating here. her answer was: “Women had one of the best Asian cuisine he had in christchurch.” this was confirmed by some other matte, but that was the outstanding answer.
As a Asian I can tell you right now, this is what we call trandation asian food taste. The fried noodles fried rice absolute must try item. Dry enough not like some "chinese "restaurants their fried rice are wet. If you would like to try some really good and good value asian food. Here is your first choice!
We ordered Lor Mee and Nasi Lemak. I must say lor mee is pretty authentic, better if they have had added a little more minced garlic to give that kick. The Nasi Lemak is a disappointment. The coconut aroma is lacking in the rice which is essential in Nasi lemak. We will be back to try the black vinegar trotter soup and assam bee hoon soup that were not available when we patronised the shop.

Ordered Kung Pao Chicken which is no taste, I believe the chef didn't put any salt in my food and I couldn't eat it anyway.
