First Dosa I ever had it. It was fabulous food!! GF Dosa and Mango Lassi drink. Perfectly found. And around the corner in the same marketplace a business with a whole counter of GF slices, cookies, cheesecake etc. with Coeliac safe shield. What a great start in a trip! View all feedback.
What K H doesn't like about Dosa Kitchen:
Ordered two curries and a naan lunch meal with butter chicken and chicken tikka masala. Butter chicken didn't taste the way its normally done in NZ, tikka was good. Both curries were a bit more watery, so that's something to take note of if you were wanting the creamier version. Also had the masala chai which tasted good but was a bit too sweet. Yum! After wandering around the Riverside Market a couple of times, I settled on this restaurant and wasn’t disappointed. The masala dosa and chutneys were excellent and the samosas were great. The service was fast, friendly, and efficient, the restaurant was clean, and the prices were reasonable. Highly recommend!
Ordered Masala Dosa and it was perfectly made was nice and crisp. The masala inside was nice fresh along with the 2 chutneys served. Also ordered Samosas which were nice too. The sitting is a bit cramped but this is what you will expect in a busy place like Riverside Market. I would certainly visit again.
We are from UK and were on holiday to NZ and and visiting Christchurch in December 2022. We had our Dosas and were extremely happy with our dinner. The dosas were perfect in every way and personal attention was given I would refer this eatery to anyone and guarantee you will not regret.
Absolutely delicious food and lots of vegan options, I come here so often for my lunch
