Denny’s - Christchurch

A night that was very enjoyed by me and the family. at the arrival was the employee who showed us on our table, polite, friendly and very helpful. eating was amazingly pleasant and we waited only minutes to get our food. all the employees were wonderful, but there was a coworker mainly who made the whole experience that makes much more fun. her name was kellie and she was friendly, patient, attentive, polite and made us all feel so home. we usually do not eat out because we are very shy people, but kellie has made us feel that we eat home food quality. she went beyond and beyond the duty call, as she waited not only for us, but also made some of the food. that seemed unusual, so she could multiply so well. we will definitely go back. denny’s is great and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a good meal with great service.

Ordered the t-bone surf and turf with chips and salad. They delivered it with roast potatoes and asparagus which was actually really nice and I did enjoy it. The steak was cooked well I ordered medium rare but my only complaint would be that it came out in a cast iron hot plate which meant that the steak kept cooking so by the time I finished it it was pretty much well done. But still was a really nice steak. The service was fast and good and kept making their way back to your table to check if you needed alse lots so that is good. So all round a great experience for my first time at a Dennys. Thanks to the team.

Known for its cheap dates the experience is anything but cheap. Probably the only restaurant in Town where you can get a truly America style table service and a great meal every time. Denny is my favorite spot for a last minute, I can 't be bothered doing dishes tonight eatery, they have everything available on the menu so there 's really no argument among fussy eaters. Fast service too, great to grab a bite before the big match or concert.

Denny's Chch has been my go-to casual restaurant in Christchurch since I first stepped foot in it. The food has consistently been very good and inexpensive. I especially enjoy the large variety of vegetarian options, and have personally fallen in love with the Veggie Skillet. Most of the staff are very friendly, however I have found some of the waitresses to be quite rude. At my last visit, my partner and I waited for 15 minutes to be given water after ordering, which seemed a bit excessive considering that the restaurant was not very crowded. Either way, Denny's has great food, great curly fries and is conveniently located off Moorhouse. Always worth a visit for a good lazy lunch

Always a good feed when you suddenly feel like eating out. Booking not needed and the staff are always accommodating. Eat free on you birthday too. My husband enjoyed his free meal so as the rest of the family who went and dined with us.
