Bloody Mary's - Christchurch

The first time you came here. we had the three cursor meals consisting of: pig bell and smoked salmon mousse. haupt: gurnard and augenfilet. dessert: meringue pie and the choc cremeux. for beginners we loved both the pigs and the smoked salmon. the boar was kind of like a braided without a fat part, the flesh was tender and came with a hearty sauce that fits well. the salmon was sturdy and good to open the appetit. the gurnard sauce was interesting, it was a crust fish bisque sauce and I think it was just ok for us, but the fish texture was very good and tasted fresh. the augenfilet was more of our favorite of the 2 netzen, medium to medium rare, the kartoffel was also delicious, the buzzing somewhat undercut than desired. the dessert choc creamux was perfect, love any component of this dessert, while the Meringue Piee we only liked the refreshing sorbet, but the pastete was not as impressive as the others. overall, very nice first experience, employees were professional and attentive.

I dined at **** Mary on October 25, 2022, and it was a wonderful experience. We were celebrating my mother's birthday, and the team went above and beyond to take care of us, making it a truly special occasion. The food was perfectly prepared, and the atmosphere was lovely. A special thank you to Binod, Phil, and Lucy—who was the most charming waitress—for making the night so memorable. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Had our best meal in Christchurch! We didn’t have a reservation so we’re seated at the bar before any seat was available. In a short time we placed our orders with the help from our waitress. Everything we had was delicious. The steak, the fried oysters to the dessert. The layered potato was one of the highlight too. We loved how everything was not of big portion which made us always want more. A good place for family or friend gathering. The wait staff also gave advice on the food options as well as the drink.

My 1st time visiting but it won't be my last. It's classy, modern, clean,staff were friendly, well except for one but no matter. I hope the rest of her day went well. There is a great selection of food for a buffet breakfast. Everything was fresh,tasty and appealing. Parking is going to be your nemesis. If you making a booking, add 10 minutes extra to look for parking. Other than that, loved it!

We had a wonderful meal in a lovely setting, complemented by friendly and efficient staff. Our visit and the food were truly enjoyable. I even took my dessert home to savor it later!
