What Courtney J doesn't like about Blax Espresso:
Used to come here all the time when I worked at the Casino (2013). Met a friend while back visiting and sadly it’s not what it was. Why do all flat whites now come in latte cups as standard? Maybe just a bad day but a shame as I have fond memories of great coffee and a great team. View all feedback.
When you’re meant to get 25% off, and the shop multiply the total by 0.8 any Mathematics Teacher or their students realise there’s a problem. So 3 stars for average cafe (limited food options) and -1 star for dishonesty…
Called in here to have a work meeting, worker was sitting down at the back. Prompt greeting into the cafe, ordered coffees, grilled cheese rolls and a toastie. Coffee was quite good, cheese rolls were OK and the toastie was nice, but had a bit too much tomato in it. A good tip here is to remove the woody core from the tomato before adding it to the toasty. That wasn't so nice to eat.
Good coffee and caramel walnut brownie is delicious. Great little stop of down Victoria st...been here a few times ..
