Great to see this gem of a pub open again.
Great, family friendly pub in a perfect location next to the canal. Really nice selection of ales and lager on draught, great atmosphere.
Charming and inviting pub. Perfect for a leisurely stroll along the canal and enjoying a refreshing beer or wine break. I will definitely return during the summer, as the setting is so lovely.

I'm not sure what the previous review was all about, clearly written by someone with personal issues. I have been a regular at this pub for several years and I am thrilled to see it reopen. The new team here is professional and always creates a warm and friendly atmosphere. I am looking forward to trying the food, as I'm sure it will be fantastic. The beer is excellent and I am happy to see that it is still dog-friendly. I believe that the Top Lock has finally found a great landlord and management team that will help it thrive. I highly recommend paying a visit.
