Fieldfare - Chorley

I recently visited this restaurant with friends for New Year's to catch up. We only had drinks, but the waitress was very attentive and made sure our glasses were always full. Can't wait to come back for dinner soon!

To bring the new year, I thought I would go to the fieldfare for a meal. my visit was absolutely brilliant, the personal was surprisingly upbeat even thought they were calm, nothing was too much. eating was also for a 2for1, they even have a offer for those who eat alone. I will definitely visit again.

UPDATE: Avoid the lamb and feta meatball starter. They were extremely tough and lacked flavor. It was like I could have used them for a game of squash.

I am giving this restaurant 3 stars because while the food was very good, the service was terrible. We waited about 20 minutes to be seated and then waited 40 minutes for our meal. The staff appeared disinterested, even when we questioned why others who arrived after us were being served before us. They also brought my daughter's meal with rice instead of chips, and we had to remind them about the onion rings we ordered. The staff did not make eye contact or seem happy in their job. Overall, it was not a welcoming environment. However, the food was decent.
