Cafe Duo offers fantastic dishes, but unless you have one of the few attentive waiters, the service can be chaotic, especially when they're busy. Even with a reservation, it’s nearly impossible to get attention—good luck ordering a drink at the bar while you wait, unless you’re young and dressed provocatively. If you’re over 35 and well-dressed, you might find yourself overlooked when it comes to seating, drink orders, or table service. This used to be our favorite spot for both business meetings and leisure, especially when trying to attract new talent to Greenville. The food is truly exceptional, and they have a solid wine list, but until they hire someone capable of organizing and training their front-of-house staff, we won’t be returning.
