Another buffet to eat when you are in a tour in Cañón del Colca. It's not packed, and the food is good. The staff is friendly and the price, very reasonable.

A wide selection to choose from. Only the restaurant opened in the city had to eat there twice. Fried Trout from the first day was recycled in two days trout. Same basic foods offered, most served from day before. The lamb ribs were harder and darker in the color on the second day. All foods were room temperature, although on a steam table. Some beautiful vegetables served as salad options, cut tomatoes, olives, hot sauce, steamed broccoli. Bananas and small glasses full of puddings(? Were desert and some small plums.

We stopped here as part of our tour and lunch was already included in our tour price. Very well organized and obviously used to catering for large groups on coaches. The food was buffet style and there was a wide selection of hot and cold dishes to choose from as well as a range of different deserts. Staff friendly and professional and very used to travel by tourists. The food was nice and the atmosphere was good

Sometimes you can't choose the place where you eat and just follow what your guide thought would be the best. Chivay doesn't seem to be a gourmet destination anyway. So we ended at Urinsaya and I must say we were pleasantly surprised. The buffet had a lot of choice and they were very fresh; the staff always brought fresh dishes to the heaters. There were several soups, a beautiful troutceviche, several meats (one choice to taste Alpaca and Cui), and fried bananas, chocolate cake and Lucuma pudding for dessert. Another pleasant surprise was coffee better than many coffee spots in Lima and Arequipa.

Very good quality and Flavor. Ideal for turists and locals to. The price is 10$ and the are a lot of different choices of dishes, for vegetarians to.
