You c... read more Restaurant Gassl Bräu is located in the mediaeval centre of Klausen. The restaurant offers bourgeois Austrian cuisine and pizza. Don’t expect fine dining. You can dine inside or at the terrace. Service is quick and friendly. While staying nearby we went to Gassl Bräu for dinner. The restaurant was packed, a good sign. At busy days it is wise to call for a reservation. We went for Veal Schnitzel with Bratkartoffeln accompanied by a Weißbier and a Veggi Wrap and a bottle of mineral water. The food was tasty, but nothing special. When you fancy good Austrian food Gassl Bräu is the place for you.

We all ordered pizza, which was very dry... read more Our friends who lived nearby recommended this restaurant. It has a pleasant outdoor seating area and an extensive menu. We all ordered pizza, which was very dry (very little cheese) and below average. We might try it again but would not order the pizza. The beer was excellent however.
