I was there last night and while a large group was eating, the manager kindly offered to look after their baby. The service was fantastic.

We had heard great things about this place a... read more We arrived late on a Wednesday night without a reservation as it was a spur-of-the-moment dinner date with friends. We had heard great things about this place and it certainly lived up to the hype! The owner's banter was fantastic and he was able to keep up with ours. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the food was delicious. This is definitely my new go-to spot for a good curry! Can't wait to come back soon!

I was not impressed with the bland food, which seemed to be altered to suit Western tastes. I am writing this review because we specifically sought out a Bengali restaurant, only to find that none of the dishes had a Bengali touch. The South Indian papad, the rice passed off as Biryani, the saag paneer, and the stuffed parantha were all lacking in authenticity and flavor. Despite the menu claiming to offer Indian cuisine, none of the dishes were executed well. It is clear that the restaurant is a hub for the local community, but I believe the management should reconsider their naming and work on improving the quality of their dishes. Overall, the service, atmosphere, and food all received a rating of 2 out of 5. The price per person for dinner ranges from £10 to £20.

I highly recommend it as one of the best Indian restaurants in the area. The service, atmosphere, and food all receive top ratings. I suggest trying their poppadoms.
