We dined at Due Amici last Tuesday evening. The restaurant was quite busy, and throughout the night, we were attended to by several different staff members. The menu was extensive, but we felt rushed as we were prompted to order every few minutes by different waiters. One of them even made a sarcastic remark about how long we were taking, which made us feel uncomfortable despite only needing 5-10 minutes to decide. While two of the meals were quite good, one was just alright. Unfortunately, my husband’s veal dish with mushrooms, shallots, and paprika was missing the shallots and paprika, making it quite bland. No one came to check on our meals during our visit, but when we mentioned the issue at the end, they acknowledged the oversight. They offered an alternative dish, but by then, we had all finished, so he declined. We were also charged for dessert, which could have been given as a goodwill gesture. Overall, we don’t think we would return. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

This was my second visit to Due Amici. The service continues to impress, with the waitstaff displaying their Italian charm and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. I ordered the cod moray, which was a decent portion, but I wouldn't necessarily rave about it. The atmosphere was enjoyable, although I felt the prices were a bit steep given the overall experience. Additionally, they added a cover charge on top of the service charge, which seemed unnecessary, especially since we only received four slices of bread.
