Nestled in a charming countryside location, this restaurant offers a lively atmosphere complemented by friendly and attentive service. While menu items like the Steak Pie and apple and blackcurrant crumble receive praise, some diners have reported inconsistencies in food quality, with certain dishes falling short of expectations. The pub’s inviting ambiance, complete with a welcoming log fire and pet-friendly policy, adds to its appeal. With prices ranging from £10 to £20 per person, this spot promises a mix of delightful experiences and occasional disappointments, making it a hidden gem worth exploring for those seeking a cozy dining setting.

The food at this restaurant was excellent, but we were disappointed when we arrived for our reservation for four Sunday lunches, only to be told that they were sold out. We had to choose something else from the menu instead. Price per person ranged from £10 to £20. The food was rated a 3, the service was a 5, and the atmosphere was a 2. We recommend trying the Steak Pie.

I had a wonderful dinner experience. The food was delicious and offered great value for the price. It's a charming little pub with a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the service was excellent as well.

I had a fantastic meal with great company on Sunday. Thank you, everyone! I'll definitely be returning.
