I had a fantastic experience at Lang Suan last week. Despite the restaurant being relatively empty during lunchtime, I enjoyed a delicious and filling Thai meal at a reasonable price. The waitress recommended the Kra Pow Gai, a minced chicken stir fry with chili and basil, accompanied by rice and a fried egg. With a student ID discount, our meal only cost $12. We also tried the tempting pineapple fried rice for $10.5... View all feedback.
What Tate Jakubowski doesn't like about Lang Suan Central Park:
Central Park shopping centre is a nice location to sit and relax on a Sunday. I was studying and cramming in last minute assessments. In need of a sugar fix, Koffie was right in front of us.
The chocolate and almond slice was my pick alongside a cappuccino. Although it did give me a sugar fix. I found the chocolate to be underwhelming and the slice to be undercooked. It tasted like chocolate and cake dough, the cof... View all feedback.
Like what other reviewers have commented, the food here is simply bad, bad, bad! The pad Thai chicken I got for my lunch yesterday was awfully overcooked and became a mushy mess. The chicken was as hard as a rock. Oh dear! I hope the chef try his food one day.
Had the Worst chicken pad see ew here. Had 1 mouth full and went back to asked for it to be cooked for longer. When I received it back it was hotter but the noodles were white and had no flavour. Threw the whole thing in the bin. Absolute waste of money! Would not recommend
Had the worst green curry here, it was far too sweet and watery and the vegetables were undercooked. I asked for it to be remade but even then it tasted exactly the same.
Sometimes they would have meal deal on and there was this deal for $10 that had noodles and chicken with soya sauce. Dont get me wrong but i do like that combination but what i was not expecting was a bed of soya sauce with steamed chicken and noodles with no seasoning sitting on top of it. It was a massive disappointment as i was unable to have it. I also tried their pad thai and compared to other thai places it lacked the flavour that a pad thai should have.
Unlike the other reviews below, I actually had a delicious, filling and reasonably priced Thai lunch at Lang Suan last week. We visited the outlet on a rainy tuesday and the food court in general was pretty empty given it was lunch time. The waitress at the counter suggested her favourite dish, Kra Pow Gai, which was minced chicken stir fry with chilli and basil, served with rice and a fried egg. The cost of the meal was $12 but because we showed our student ID we received 10% off! We were also tempted to order the pineapple fried rice which was a special meal priced at $10.50. We were given a waiting buzzer, took a seat, and in no time at all were served our two dishes. I couldn't believe how large the serving was (especially the pineapple rice) given the price. The flavours were really tasty, the chicken was cooked well and wasn't dry, the greens were spread throughout the rice, and overall it was great. Plus the fried egg was runny inside! I look forward to returning to Lang Suan soon for another post uni lunch. lillybites.com
