Café Giulia - Chippendale
Café Giulia
Description
Cafe Giulia in Chippendale has a rich history, with patrons praising its Middle Eastern food, grungy vibe, and excellent coffee. However, recent reviews highlight some issues, such as unfriendly treatment towards customers with dogs and declining customer service. Despite some drawbacks, the menu offers a variety of tasty dishes, such as Black Eyed Bean soup and smashed avo with feta. The courtyard, perfect for dog owners, is a rare find in the inner city. While the food may not be exceptional, the low prices make it a good choice for a simple, cheap meal. With a cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent coffee, Cafe Giulia remains a popular spot for many despite some shortcomings.

I dunno. It's good tho. The steak sandwich. The chips. Service can be indifferent. But lovely spot. Sit by the window.
Ive been eating at Giulia since it was renovated from an old butchers the food is simply just great! Nothing more to say the food is simply just great!
I have been visiting Cafe Giulia since my days as a freshy at USYD. That will make it 10 years this year. Recently, I have visited less and less. Why is that? Because Giulia seems to be resting on her laurels. I still support local,...but either the bar has been raised or Giulia has slipped. When I read 'best espresso ever ', I think of Scott Pilgrim. This is not how people really speak, and definitely not the case. Service on weekends makes you feel guilty for interrupting the staff 's hangovers. Soz. Maybe this is not for you. In 2016 my Nespresso makes a pretty good espresso some would say 'best espresso ever '... and it only costs me 65c. If Giulia wants continued custom, they will need to pick up their customer service.
A good selection of nice food at low prices. My smoked salmon and egg muffin was delightful and only $6.
Would be great if they offered table service. the farm is the only reason I come here because I can bring my dog there and enjoy a meal. it is difficult to find an inner café with an inner courtyard. eating is decent, but not great. not to complain because the rice is on the middle low size, which is clearly reflected on eating. I give him a very good, because the price is low, and his good place for a cheap food. would recommend someone who has a dog and wants to eat simple food in a caffe with an inn.
