Came by for cocktails before our dinner reservation at a nearby restaurant. Ordered the Coco Chanel which was served in a cute teapot with japanese tea cups. It was a nice concept I have not seen before and I really enjoyed it! It was a delicious concortion. I'm not normally a fan of tequila, but the taste of the coconut tequila was pleasant and apparent w/o it being too strong. Looking forward to returning to try the Rum Bisou, their other teapot cocktail.
Kensington's road is so fun. they really have a good mix of places with the right type of design to make the place flush and live. we thought in bar chinois was a fast drink before dinner and had two pretty nice cocktails. I am trying to go back and have a gin on hahn and I should also try bar food, or? but for a pre-dinner drink this sweet little place has good mood and an interesting drink list.
On Wednesday evening at 9.30 a.m. a few went to one of the outside tables to say that they closed in 10 minutes and we couldn't even have a drink! a barmaid was Adamant, the other looked embarrassing, we have seduced over the way to kensington street social, and had nice cocktails and great, friendly service. what a relief!
Come to cocktails before our dinner reservation in a nearby restaurant. the coco chanel was served in a sweet teekanne with Japanese teetassen. it was a nice concept that I did not see before and I really enjoyed it! it was a delicious proclamation. I am usually not a fan of tequila, but the taste of the coconut tequila was pleasant and obviously w/o it was too strong. look forward to the return to the round bisou, their other teekanne cocktail.
