Description

Located within the vibrant Spice Alley, Bang Luck offers delicious Thai cuisine at reasonable prices. While some reviewers found the dishes lacking in vegetables or freshness, others praised the mussel fritter and fish cakes. The Pad See Ew With Beef was noted for its tasty, not too oily flavor with a nice soy touch. The roti canai was a standout, remaining warm, crisp, and buttery even after delivery. Overall, Bang Luck in Spice Alley provides a diverse range of authentic Asian cuisine in a lively and well-decorated atmosphere, making it a great choice for a casual meal with friends or family.

We were walking around in Chippendale and found ourselves in some strange looking alleyway and decided to go on an adventure . Little did we know it was quite popular and was a street food area. Anyway since we have come across quite a few Thai places, we decided to give Bang luck a go. We ordered the pad Thai, pad see ew and the Thai fried chicken. To our surprise the Thai dishes we had was quite delicious and enjoyable! The food price was also reasonable. I would recommend this to other travellers :) Cameron

This is one of the many food stalls in Spice Alley and I only ordered the starters from here. If you like mussels, I highly recommend the mussel fritter. I also tried the fish cakes which were also very good. I will be back to try the mains next time.

I personally didn't like the take away meals I ordered from this place. Unfortunately, they were quite plain and no vegetables were thrown in the mix like other Thai restaurants do for the same dishes. I ordered from Bang Luck through a delivery service (UberEATS) so I didn't get the opportunity to experience the service here.

This place is literally the first one you come across within Spice Alley and the aromas and colours invite you in. I had an amazing Nasi goreng while my partner had a delicious Roti Canai and a coconut based curry with rice. Very reasonable prices too!
