The food was above expec... read more We were staying not far from Flora so we dropped in without a booking. They accommodated us regardless and we were very happy they did. The food was above expectation and so was the quality of the house wine. We ordered a deconstructed custard and fruit cake to share and it too was delicious. The house offered us a little “sgroppino” which was the icing on the cake. The only reason we didn’t go back was that we only stayed 3 more nights and we wanted to try other places. I would not hesitate recommending this place to my friends.

Food wa... read more Arrived across the bridge from Sottomarina early evening and wasn't sure what to expect. Loved the atmosphere of Chioggia, and Flora was our first stop. Food was lovely, but it was the service that made it not rushed, not slow either, and with extra drinks and cakes that were not expected when prices were so reasonable.

Unfortunately, we received two bad drinks ... it was really unsuccessful. Around the tables, there were lots of pigeons fought about pieces of bread left on the plates after guests left. No, there will be another bar next time.

The restaurant surprised us with the great qual... read more We ate twice during our week holiday in the area, we were there during the Sagra delle Pesce (Seafood festival). The restaurant surprised us with the great quality of the seafood and the moderate prices. Everything we ate was perfect. The staff is friendly, it being a small restaurant does mean some waiting time has to be allowed. but hey, were in Italy , glass of wine and nice weather, so what.
