What N L doesn't like about Shima Japanese:
Kinda felt like I had to waite on myself, server was talking to other employees rather than checking to see if we needed refills, napkins, to go boxes or anything. Expected a little more for that 18% gratuity they tack on to your bill (we had a group of 10). Our chef was awesome super friendly with the kids too.Food: 5/5 View all feedback.
Kinda like Benihana's type of place.... food was good, moderately priced. Chef/cook was entertaining!
This place is great. Like anyone, it's my perspective but to be honest. Shima is an outstanding restaurant with great entertaining cooks. Somedays are better other days not depending on how crowded it is which impact the wait time. Overall I love eating here and hanging out with my wife and kids. Highly recommended.
Shima was great. Our cook was hilarious and very entertaining to everyone. The food was delicious. The service was good, very accommodating. We came on a weekend after my sons game and celebrated my wifes birthday with family and it was perfect. No long wait for last minute large family. Thanks Shima, we love it here.
Great dinner plus a show. The staff was friendly and professional. The shrimp cooked perfectly. Our chef was skillful and entertaining. The kids loved the show.
This place gets super busy so it's best to make a reservation. I sat at the sushi bar and the food was amazing.Kid-friendliness: Hibachi would be fun for the kids
