This was the worst Sunday roast I have ever experienced. The beef did not resemble beef at all, as it was a light brown color. The Yorkshire pudding tasted like paper, and the roast potatoes were so tough that they required a chisel to cut. The parsnips were burnt and lacked flavor. Went as a party of four for a evening meal. Pub has had a refurbishment relatively recently which has created a light airy atmosphere within. Very busy when we arrived but we were met by a very pleasant female member of the serving staff who was friendly and professional throughout. Menu good and varied.
