The staff is friendly, the food is excellent, and the prices are reasonable. I would definitely come back.

This was the worst Sunday roast I have ever experienced. The beef did not resemble beef at all, as it was a light brown color. The Yorkshire pudding tasted like... read more This was the worst Sunday roast I have ever experienced. The beef did not resemble beef at all, as it was a light brown color. The Yorkshire pudding tasted like paper, and the roast potatoes were so tough that they required a chisel to cut. The parsnips were burnt and lacked flavor. The only redeeming quality was the gravy, although it lacked taste as well. Additionally, it seemed like we were expected to eat with our hands and wipe them on our clothes. Overall, a very disappointing dining experience.

Just had takeout fish and chips from The Plough. The food was ready on time, hot, and delicious. Very busy when we... read more Went as a party of four for a evening meal. Pub has had a refurbishment relatively recently which has created a light airy atmosphere within. Very busy when we arrived but we were met by a very pleasant female member of the serving staff who was friendly and professional throughout. Menu good and varied. I had the the Angus beef burger which was very tasty, sweet was a chocolate brownie with sauce and ice cream. All four of us enjoyed our meals. Far better quality and quantity that I endured in several so called Gastropubs. Good value in these days of increasing food costs. We will be back again.

Excellent Sunday roast and loaded nachos. Staff were very attentive and on the ball.
