Reviews summary
MasterChef Café offers a variety of breakfast and lunch options with a focus on quality ingredients and solid service. While many patrons find the food delightful and reasonably priced, recent visits reveal inconsistencies in both food quality and service. Diners have praised the attentive staff and delicious meals, including the standout breakfast selections; however, some have reported subpar ingredients and long wait times. Overall, this café attracts loyal customers with its family-friendly atmosphere and great coffee, yet fluctuations in experience suggest a need for improvement to maintain its reputation.

I stopped by for breakfast and was impressed with the variety and the quality of the food. I would definitely recommend checking it out. It has a cafeteria-style setup, but the delicious food makes it worth a visit. View all feedback.
What Robert D dislikes about Master Chef:
I don't like to give bad reviews but the quality of the ingredients has gone down hill over the last few years. I ordered the Traditional breakfast and I have to say it was bad, poor quality catering sausage, hard bacon, baked beans with no flavour and badly cooked fried eggs. I love a full English breakfast but it has to have good quality ingredients and this did not and the price was not cheap I had the other day a... View all feedback.

Perfect been here over ten times this month hasn’t let me down once food comes out perfect everytime and brilliant service every time
The guys really looked after the kids for breakfast, nice kids utensils. My boys are american and ordered the American breakfast of pancakes and loved it. Good service and all the food was cooked fresh. I had the breakfast roll in a baguette (nice and soft). Top marks
Always cheerful staff serving great food with a smile. In my view, best coffee in Amersham which is strange given all the dedicated coffee shops here.
Popped in for lunch and catch up with friend. Varied menu; good quality food at reasonable price with nice staff. Pleasant visit thank you.
It is a new 'local ' as we 've recently moved to Amersham. The staff are always helpful polite and the fayre is not for the small-appetite amongst us. The only 2 down-sides to this lovely establishment are that we cannot go inside with our dog and they only take cash payment (no debit cards) so we have to plan in advance to have cash.

On Saturday me and the mrs went for breakfast, from the minute we stepped in we was greeted and seated straight away and was offered a cuppa tea whilst we decided on what we wanted. As i am a fussy eater i kept asking questions and waiter was absolutely fantastic on answering my question and was even giving me alternatives to choose from which made me feel very welcome. Me and mrs both went for the big breakfast and made minor tweaks which wasn't a problem, as i was waiting for the food to come i was observing the restaurant and it was spotless !! When the food arrived it was presented so nice and when i bit into it it tasted even better !!! Anyways at the end of our meal me and the mrs was so happy with the outcome of everything we decide to make Masterchef our regular and definitely will be returning this Saturday cant wait !!! Excellent customer service Very clean restaurant Mouth watering food All in all 10/10 !
We had previously visited this restaurant and enjoyed a well-cooked breakfast with attentive staff. However, our recent experience for lunch was not as pleasant. Although we were served quickly at first and the main course was fine, we were unable to order dessert despite the lack of busyness. The staff seemed to be actively ignoring us, making it impossible to place an order. This made us feel unwelcome, prompting us to give up and leave after 15 minutes. No one checked in to see if we were enjoying our meal. As quiet and polite customers, we were confused as to why we were treated in this manner. Our rating is solely based on the food.
We waited 45 mins for our food despite asking several times what was going on and then we noticed people were actually coming in after us and leaving, having been served and eaten before we had received our food. Their secret? Clearly they knew the staff and owners. I feel we were taken the pee out of and that’s not nice!
