Description

Caffe Nero in Amersham offers a mixed experience. The coffee is comparable to other shops in town, but the interior is in need of a refresh. Staff vary from friendly and attentive to surly. However, some customers appreciate the friendly service and relaxed atmosphere. Dog-friendly with good wifi, it's a popular choice. Overall, a decent spot for a coffee but could use some improvements to match the competition in town.

Good location and friendly atmosphere on main street of Amersham on the Hill. Small selection of food but good teas and coffee

It's a very nice Nero. Nero do my favourite coffee anyhow but how this one is set up is really nice. Very nice staff too and very clean cafe.

I frequent this restaurant several times a month and always order the same thing. However, the quality of my coffee varies depending on who is working that day. Sometimes I get a full cup, sometimes only half, and the strength and temperature can range from strong to weak, hot to tepid. It's like playing coffee roulette. The coffee here is stronger than at other places, so if you order a small size cup, stick to a single shot.

In a small town filled with coffee shops, Cafe Nero stands out with its relaxing atmosphere and pet-friendly policy (unfortunately my feisty dog didn't make the cut). I enjoy their coffee and sweet treats, although there have been some off days. I recently had a disappointing cup of watery coffee and a sandwich with bad tasting meat. The staff are always friendly, but leaving a new trainee to handle the busy coffee rush while the experienced barista busied themselves with clearing tables was not the best decision. A lukewarm savory pastry was the last straw for me.
