Their famous Hippo Burger fries were an absolute delight, and they also served delicious homemade shakes, onion rings, and more—everything was fantastic. The Hippo burgers were our favorite, and we can hardly wait for April 15th to return and order a Hippo combo! We wish the new owners the best of luck and are excited to see if it’s like we remembered from years past.

Unfortunately, T-P has shut down in the past few weeks. The sign has been taken down, and all the windows have been boarded up. It’s a real loss, and it seems to be a permanent closure. It will definitely be missed.

The beef comes fr... read more This restaurant is a fantastic throwback to classic drive-up diners! The vanilla shakes are amazing, tasting just like snow ice cream—no joke! The beef comes from Howard's in Klamath Falls and is simply outstanding. The greens on the burger are fresh, the bun is soft, and the fries are a generous serving of deliciousness. The only downside is that there’s no restroom, so make sure you're prepared beforehand. Other than that, it’s an excellent place to eat. Just so you know, when I mentioned this spot to a few different people in Klamath Falls, they echoed my sentiments, so there must be something really special about this place!

If you want to eat raw hamburger, dried out fries and pay an arm and a leg by all means help yourself to some TP. The people in the area eat here because there are NO FRANCHISES. The locals don't have much choice.
