The only reason I didn't give this KFC a lower rating is because the chicken was good.

Bldg. looks good from the outside but upon entering, it is obvious that this facility was built to suit the franchisee/owner and not the customer. When one has to follow bright yellow footsteps on the floor to find the order counter/staff, it is evident that there is a serious design flaw. The room was very poorly laid out and was about as comfortable as an igloo. Far, far too chilly. When approaching the counter to place our order (which, by the way, came to about $52.00), I had to walk around a staff member who was filling a cooler with cold beverages. There was no acknowledgement nor greeting from this employee and he did not look up in acknowledgement that I was even there. As I stood at the service counter for some 30-45 secs. I could partially see one male employee standing in the kitchen area speaking with another person who was out of site. No one yet had acknowledged that I was there. Finally, the male employee in the kitchen area leaned back and said that someone would be right with me and he then resumed his conversation with the other person in the kitchen. The cooler loader person continued what he was doing. There were only two other customers in the store who were eating at a table. After I had stood there for at least 1 1/2 to 2 mins. the cooler loader person went behind the counter and asked to take my order. No greeting, no smile, and no comment regarding the wait time. After waiting for my order, I thought I heard this same male employee say that an order was ready but it was so faint that I was not sure that he was speaking to me, although there was no one else in the store that his comments could have been directed to. (The couple that had been there eating had since left). So I approached the counter to collect our 20 pieces of chicken, large order of fries, and large popcorn chicken. The bag was barely large enough for the order and the large box of fries would not close, leaving the fries exposed and open at the top of the bag. I asked if he could not provide a 2nd bag so the I could close it over the fries to keep them covered. In the meantime, another male customer had walked in and the staff member and this customer were well acquainted with each other and appeared to be friends. As they were talking to each other about the car show being held in town that day (it was close to the noon hour Saturday), the employee handed me a small bag barely sufficient to cover the box of fries. He never looked at me the whole time, but rather seemed enamoured with his friend who had his entire attention. I took the bag from his outstretched hand and forced it to work as best I could. He clearly had no idea if this had resolved the issue as I am not sure if he knew I was still there, and could have cared less, by his actions (or lack of them). Needless to say, this was absolutely the first and last time that any of us will EVER enter this establishment again. I have grossly over-rated this restaurant by giving it 1 Star.

This restaurant was difficult to get in and out of for anyone new to town. The access is off a very busy road and exit must be through a back alley. Food was we... read more This restaurant was difficult to get in and out of for anyone new to town. The access is off a very busy road and exit must be through a back alley. Food was well prepared and served in good time. I didn't have my meal there as I was doing take out. The restaurant was plain, no frills and looked like it could be spruced up a bit.
