There is a small upper terra... read more A little hidden and therefore away from the see and be seen area, Rene 's Café is a little solitude, in the best sense of the word. There is a small upper terrace and down the stairs a slightly larger terrace (maybe just 9 tables? . You won 't find crowds here and that 's what makes René 's Café, on the often very busy Chiemsee, so special. Quiet and dignified rather than loud and forced, the coffee and cake (see the first two pages of the menu taste really excellent. Yes, the view of Lake Chiemsee is not a 180 degree view but this café is still highly recommended. Maybe or especially in bad weather because the inside has great flair!
