the food was tasteless and under boiled the waitress was grumpy and not very pleasant. we sat in the restaurant and a table of only children, while the parents on the next table sat loud and unruly. View all feedback.
It is well worth stopping to have a drink. The building is very old and has lots of character and charm.
Historic building in an idyllic setting. The room had fabulous, antique furniture and the whole place is hugely atmospheric. The food was excellent and the convivial feel of a local Inn made a great all round experience. Highly recommended.
Wonderful service , excellent food , good parking a beautiful setting ideal for a after me stroll . What's not to like .
Eating was creatiw, classic quality British when they want, and very pleasant. the inn was recently renovated and looks gorgeous. the personal is attentive, and the only scandal was that we missed the lunch, what we see as the most magnificent desert. bier, I had cookies, why not? was well poured and very tasty,
