Tacos El Paisa - Chico

These tacos are generously filled with juicy meat, cilantro, and onions, with the option to add other toppings for an extra charge. The chicken and barbacoa are particularly outstanding, but don’t overlook the beef and pork; they’re all delicious. In addition to tacos, this truck offers all the classics such as burritos, tortas, and nachos, but I recommend making tacos your priority and exploring the other options on different days—you won’t be disappointed. Update: As of April 7, 2022, I tried the tortas, supreme nachos, and veggie burrito. I’ve upgraded my rating to give this truck the highest mark; it’s truly the best in Chico. No other taco truck compares!

The owners are extremely nice and make great food. The spicy salsa is amazing (the best I’ve ever had) it’s actually spicy and I find myself craving it all the time. The meat is perfectly cooked and they don’t skimp on it either. I’ve tried almost all the taco trucks in Chico and this has to be my favorite.

Out of all the amazing burritos I've tried in Chico, this one is by far the best. They don’t just load it up with rice and beans and add a bit of meat—everything is well-mixed together. The prices are fair for a burrito, too. I really appreciate the owners and the delicious food they make. If you enjoy a bit of spice, don’t forget to ask for it hot!

The staff at this restaurant are incredibly friendly. It's my go-to spot for a quick and affordable meal when I'm too tired to cook. My favorite dish is the chicken queen with the extra spicy salsa. I would definitely give it a 10 out of 10 and will be returning soon!
