Russell's Sunrise Cafe - Chico

My mother and I had a fantastic experience today. The waitress was exceptional, our food was fresh, cooked exactly as we requested, and served hot. My coffee cup was always full. It's a family-friendly restaurant, and I look forward to returning regularly. Thank you for a delightful experience!

Love this place, best waitresses in Chico! The food is almost always super good. 2 for one chicken dinners everyday!!! Except the black hair girl. She's an hole. Unbelievably rude.

We hadn't been in awhile and have to say were dissapointed. Husband ordered a tuna melt, it was old tuna and had to go back! Went with a cheeseburger and that was okay. I had a breakfast of eggs, pancakes and bacon well done. Bacon was burnt. Yuck! Our server was great though, very sweet and prompt!

We're going! Debbie, Nicole, and Rhonda make you feel like part of the family. The chefs serve food that is always hot and delicious. Cooking eggs is truly an art, and I have no complaints here. And just wait until you try Debbie's homemade cakes!

I had breakfast here and opted for the senior meal, which includes three items. I chose the chicken fried steak, cookies, and gravy, along with two eggs. I requested my eggs to be cooked medium, and they were perfectly done. The chicken fried steak was incredibly tender and delicious. The cookie was fresh and soft; however, I felt it could have used a bit more seasoning, like pepper or sausage flavor. Despite that minor detail, the quality of the food and service earned this place a solid 5 stars in my book. I’ll definitely return, just no engraving next time!
