Peeking Chinese - Chico

This is the best Chinese restaurant my husband and I have come to. The portions are enormous and yet at a fair price. The two servers we had were very nice and attentive. We'll always get one back if we want a good meal. So thank you for being so nice and amazing. Everyone has to come out and try.

In a cellar, speaking kind of atmosphere, a simple meal seems all that much more intimate. Great place to your spouse or date for a low pressure, whole meal. I'm often here and I'll be back.

This place is definitely a new favorite. Tons of vegetarian options (I want to try them all) and solid prices for excellent quality. My friend had the Mongolian beef and loved it, and said the black mushroom chicken was also quite decent. I tried the vegetarian orange chicken and the eggplant tofu and they were both super. The chicken was crispy and her orange sauce recipe is on point. Her tofu was well cooked and the vegetables were plentiful. Portions were solid. If you order the delivery, I recommend the order directly from your site. It is much cheaper than door dash etc. and the service was great. The food was hot, packed safe and arrived in 30 minutes.

I love the underground atmosphere it was very clean The BEST broccoli chicken I ever had was perfectly cooked (not muddy, not undercooked, but al'dente!!!! Would definitely recommend this place again when always in Chico again!!!!

This is a favorite of mine; Peeking is always a good option. They have good vegan selection. The prices are good and the food tastes great. The downtown location is convenient as well as their online ordering and delivery options. My favorite dishes are the tofu eggplant, tofu mushroom, vegan mock meat fried rice, and the sizzling rice soup. The restaurant is rarely crowded, the music isn't too loud, and the lights aren't super bright, making it a more relaxing atmosphere and a gentler sensory experience.
