Izakaya Ichiban - Chico

Everything was delicious, as always! The Butter Noodles have a wonderful, buttery, chewy texture. They serve a generous portion of Wakame topped with a few fresh grape tomatoes. The Italian Roll is one of my husband’s and my favorite rolls. We love the freshness of the basil paired with the salmon, avocado, and sprouts!

This restaurant never fails to impress. The quality of the food is consistently excellent. I appreciate how quickly it is prepared and delivered. I particularly enjoy the crab tacos and the veggie gyoza! I've sampled nearly all the sushi options as well, and honestly, you can't go wrong with any choice.

The Crunchy Roll was outstanding, and the Chico Roll never fails to impress! If you're looking for a unique twist on a classic dish, I highly recommend trying the Crab Japanese Taco—I'm absolutely obsessed with them. I've never been a fan of eggplant, but these tacos will completely change your perspective! The veggie gyoza are also a fantastic option to consider. As you may have guessed, I'm a pescatarian, and this place meets all my expectations!

The red shrimp roll and the bidwell rolls are my favorite!! I order pickup because I prefer to have the eel sauce and spicy mayo cup added with it. I wish you could order them online but until then I guess I will have to continue doing pickup. I did knock off a star because the customer service is NOT there, there was no smile, no hello, no telling me thank you before I left. These are basic and simple things that should be done when someone is spending money at the establishment you work for. Sushi also is not cheap, show appreciation for your customers when they come in. It is really strange that the person working the desk couldn’t even be bothered to do simple IMPORTANT parts that should be extended to customers. I really didn’t feel appreciated on any way, not that it needs to be huge or anything, I believe that just a simple thank you would have made all the difference.

Everything was fantastic! One of my go-tos for Japanese food. I love their extended menu, plenty of options for all tastes. The Vegetable roll is exquisite. My family is from the east coast so I love a lox bagel in sushi form (Smoked Salmon Cream Cheese). The Japanese Taco is a revelation, whoever thought of that deserves a big smooch.
