absolutely terrible service. we called a call order and were informed, will be ready in 10 minutes. Once we arrived and paid, the girl told us that our job was still cooked and will let us know when it's done. we sat and waited for over 20 minutes. Finally we asked the guy who works in the Poke area, and he saw that our order is in the rule all the time. eating was already cold. I guess the girl was probably high at... View all feedback.
Good food but a bit greasy for me. Very large portions. An easy 2 meals. All meals come with a small side of macaroni salad and a large ball of sticky white rice. I had the seafood platter and it was pretty good, but again, a bit greasy. I dont know the name of the dish my sister had but it was 2 large, seasoned hamburger patties, 2 eggs on top, smothered in a sauce. Quite rich but tasty. We also ordered a 3rd entree of shredded pork that was an enormous pile of pork. We made tacos 2 nights in a row and still had a lot left over. The restaurant is set up in a cafeteria style, you order, pick what you want with some entrees then take it out. They did have a few small tables inside and a couple outside. I dont think this place is for everyone, but if you like rich food and lots of it, it'd be worth a try for you.
Chicken Katsu was delicious. Great serving for $13. Macaroni salad was good, not great. I felt like Omething missed it. I got back to Hawaii. Will definitely be back for more crispy chicken and this sauce!
Used to frequent L&L in Roseville and been missing Hawaiian BBQ ever since I moved to Chico. I had the BBQ Mix plate and it was excellent. Big plate of delicious food that I could not finish in one sitting, so I had some leftovers to bring home with me. The staff was friendly and courteous. Inside seating is limited so you may want to order takeout. Will definitely be working this into my weekday lunch and weekend dinner rotation.
Big portions. Friendly staff. Delicious food. I got the small plate option, and it was enough for dinner and lunch the next day. My one suggestion is to ditch the onions in the Mac salad.
There is no standard vegetable option available at this restaurant, just plain raw cabbage which is not very appealing.
