Big Al's Drive In - Chico

Classic Chico Drive In. Food here is exactly what you would expect. Good greasy burgers, good tasty milkshakes, crispy onion rings. If you haven't been here you'll have to stop by and experience the vibes.

Love Big Al's Chicos local favorite, especially for their triple thick milkshakes. Service is okay, atmosphere could use some updating. Both indoor and outdoor seating available.

I always get good service here and the food is on point. There's a huge selection and they're pretty good at it all. It's a great place to stop and just get a soft serve or some other kind of malt drink on a hot day. The outside and inside of this establishment desperately needs a facelift, it would make the whole experience a lot more enjoyable, and a little less dingy feeling. I believe when it was first designed the way it looks now it was probably a hip happening place. And it could be today because of the food and people that work there. I wonder if they could do some kind of fundraising drive or promotion of some kind to raise money for redesign... Wheelchair accessibility: Since you do most ordering at the outside counter and take the food to your car to eat, this shouldn't be a problem for handicap people. The inside dining options are limited. It is a small space. However, I do believe there's enough room to get a wheelchair down the aisles to a table.

Food was great only had a burger and a drink it is a place I'll go back when I'm near there.
