I’ll gladly say that the Al Pastor is the best here, the burrito does NOT disappoint! ?
Without a doubt, the best burrito I've ever tasted. I've tried countless places from Stockton to Redding, and nothing comes close to the flavor here! Update: I returned for a second visit to check for consistency, and unfortunately, my burrito was nowhere near as good as the first one. I was really disappointed because I thought I had found something special.
I visited this restaurant twice in one week and had the same disappointing experience both times. I was quite surprised when I ordered an asada burrito that had barely any meat and cost $16. Their spicy sauce tasted more like a mild Taco Bell sauce. I used to be a fan of their food, but now I’m not sure I’ll return.
Burritos here are upper division. Elite level. The Al pastor and chicken at Aca Taco are unique and executed perfectly. Al pastor caramelizes and the chicken has depth and warmth on a different level than the other places. They’ve had a very consistent staff which means a consistent product. The burritos are always rolled perfectly and aren’t messy to eat. I’ve had a few thousand burritos from here and can count on one hand the number of times I’ve been dissatisfied.
