Was Clement Smith at Melon Patch a mag?
This restaurant is fantastic! The prices are reasonable and the food tastes just like grandma's cooking. They offer a wide variety of dishes as well as daily specials. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making sure everyone feels at home. I absolutely love this place and highly recommend it. View all feedback.

Country cooking. Extremely nice and courteous staff. A little off the main highway. The chicken and dressing is fantastic! My wife said the chicken casserole was as well. The mashed potatoes were real and made on site. The desserts are really good. Very reasonable prices.

The staff was very friendly and the decoration and layout of the restaurant reminded me of a mom and pop café I have seen in movies that took place in the 1960's.Not to say the place looked dated but it was decorated in a similar fashion as Cracker Barrel restaurants are but the melon patch's food is better and more modestly priced. I had the country fried steak with white gravy and sweet potatoes and fried squash as my sides, with a sweet tea to drink. The portion sizes were more than adequa

What a great find this place was for us today. It's not in downtown Chickamauga, so it wasn't as easy to find, but is well with the visit. Good, hearty Southern fare all the way. The day's specials are on both a menu or a white board on the wall. The potato soup thick and chunky, like it should be. My catfish was surprisingly good, as were the okra and green beans. The prices are more than fair. I would recommend this place to anyone, especially if you need a little Southern comfort for the day.

This restaurant is now known as Fivepoints Farmhouse, but the food remains excellent! The cheesecake from Levi's Custom Cheesecakes is absolutely amazing!
